Educational facilities within the Village range from Head Start and preschool programs to the Newark Public School system (which has classes from kindergarten through grade 12) to Finger Lakes Community College.

Head Start is a government sponsored preschool program aimed at helping qualified children to prepare for general education. Other private preschool organizations also exist within the Village whose aim is to provide day care while preparing children for elementary school.

Roosevelt Children's Center provides quality program services for special needs children and the Wayne ARC offers services to meet the needs of people with disabilities and their families.

Newark is proud of its public school system which is highly rated within the State.  It offers an excellent academic education, as well as many special areas of study such as art, music, and sports.  

Finger Lakes Community College

Finger Lakes Community College has a satellite campus in Newark that offers a large selection of courses for a degree or for personal enjoyment.
