Taxes are sent out by the Village on the last working day of May and are due by the end of June without penalty. The Village tax rate is $14.31126 per $1000 of assessed value.
Taxes will be received from: JUNE 1st THROUGH JUNE 30th with NO PENALTY,
- at Lyons National Bank located at 750 W. Miller Street, Newark, New York. No partial payments accepted. COLLECTION HOURS: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 9:00 A.M. THROUGH 4:00 P.M., and SATURDAY 9:00 A.M. through 1:00 P.M. NO Collections Sundays or Legal Holidays.
- Payment can also be mailed to: The Village of Newark, P.O. Box 113, Geneva, New York 14456.
- Online with a credit or debit card. This payment option is provided by Paymentus, a third-party automated payment service. Paymentus will charge you, the customer, a 2.75% convenience fee for each transaction for both online and phone payments. You may make several transactions, if necessary.

Beginning Wednesday July 1st, a 5% penalty/interest will be added for the month of July and 1% for each month thereafter, up to and including October 31st.
